Step 1

Step 1
How to make pop from baking soda and vinegar? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. A minimum of them is required and these products will always be found in the home of caring housewives: these are ordinary baking soda, table vinegar (which, if desired, can be replaced with apple cider vinegar, and you will get a more pleasant-tasting drink) and boiled filtered water. The cooking process is very simple, even a child can handle it. The entire preparation of the drink will take just a couple of minutes.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour boiled cold water into a glass. It is better to prepare the drink immediately in the container from which it will be consumed, because when pouring, most of the bubbles and gases disappear. And you need to drink it immediately after preparation. Pour table vinegar into a glass of water. If desired, table vinegar can be replaced with citric acid; it is considered less aggressive for the gastric mucosa compared to vinegar, but in principle the effect of these acids is the same.

Step 3

Step 3
Then add baking soda to the container with water and vinegar and stir quickly.

Step 4

Step 4
Hissing will appear and many bubbles will form as a result of the quenching of the alkali by the acid and the release of carbon dioxide.

Step 5

Step 5
The pop is ready.

Step 6

Step 6
Some people use this drink as a life-saving remedy for heartburn and even a hangover. In addition, regular pop can be turned into sweet lemonade by adding sugar or powdered sugar and replacing vinegar with lemon juice. It’s a matter of taste and interest in experimentation, but still, you shouldn’t get carried away with this drink, because it consists of effervescent and active substances. Bon appetit!
