How to make bagels with marmalade? Prepare your ingredients. Take the highest grade flour, wheat. The margarine should be chilled (you can replace it with butter), we will chop it with a knife and flour.

Beat eggs into a bowl and add sugar.

Mix eggs with sugar until light foam. You can do this with a whisk or mixer.

Sift the flour on a table or cutting board. Add baking powder, stir. Place the margarine on the flour and start chopping it into small pieces with a knife, while mixing it with the flour.

Then rub the flour and margarine into crumbs with your hands — you can, of course, use a knife, but doing it with your hands is much faster. Next, you can proceed in two ways — mix the crumbs in a bowl with the egg mixture, or you can make a depression in the flour crumbs and pour in the liquid mixture, and then, gradually collecting the crumbs around the edges, knead the dough. Today I used the second method. You may need a little more or less flour than the amount indicated in the composition.

So, collect the flour in a mound, make a hole in it and pour the beaten eggs into this hole. Collect flour crumbs from the edges into the center as you knead the dough. Focus on its appearance. The finished dough is smooth and even. Place the dough in a bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the marmalade, cut it into long slices along the length of the future bagel.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into 3-4 parts.

Roll each piece thinly into a circle and cut into 8 pieces if you want larger bagels.

Or into 16 pieces if we want small bagels.

Place a piece of marmalade on each piece. And, of course, marmalade can be replaced with thick jam or jam, the main thing is that the filling does not leak out.
