Delicious, appetizing, filling, for breakfast or snack! Salmon Bruschetta is a sandwich originally from Italy. Unlike a traditional sandwich, bruschetta is made on toasted bread and uses more filling. Serve the dish as an appetizer or on its own.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make bruschetta with salmon? Prepare your food. Bruschetta is often prepared on white bread, baguette or ciabatta is used. But in general, any one you like or what is available will do. As a spread, use any soft cheese — creamy, curd, preferably without additives, so as not to overwhelm the taste of the fish. In addition to the cream cheese, you can add some bright cheese, such as feta cheese or goat cheese.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the bread into pieces about 1 cm thick. If you have a baguette, cut diagonally to make the pieces longer. Toast the bread in a dry frying pan for a minute on each side until crispy. You can also use a grill pan or toast the bread in the oven on a baking sheet. If desired, spread one side of the bread with butter, then the pieces will turn out golden brown.

Step 3

Step 3
Combine both types of cheese in one bowl and mix them well with a spoon or fork. You should get a homogeneous mass. If you have time and desire, you can beat the cheese with a mixer to make the spread airy. I made do with a fork.

Step 4

Step 4
Cool the pieces of bread and spread cheese on them in a thick layer.

Step 5

Step 5
Place fish pieces on top. Don’t feel sorry for it either, there should be a lot of filling. I took sliced lightly salted salmon, but in general any other red fish will do — trout, chum salmon, salmon, pink salmon. You can take it either salted or smoked, sliced or in one piece. You can also salt the fish yourself.

Step 6

Step 6
Garnish the salmon bruschetta with any herbs you like — dill, parsley, green onions, basil. You can also add cherry tomatoes, olives, and lemon slices. Serve the dish to the table. Bon appetit!
