Condensed milk 170 g
Vanilla sugar 8 g
Cognac 140 ml

How to make homemade egg liqueur? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Choose high-quality, proven condensed milk. Without vegetable fats and food additives. The composition should contain only two ingredients: milk and sugar. The quality of the condensed milk will ultimately determine the taste and quality of the finished dish.

Place the yolks in a saucepan. Add regular and vanilla sugar to the yolks and stir. Vanilla sugar can be replaced with vanillin. Read how to do this correctly in a separate article at the link after the recipe.

Pour condensed milk and cognac into the pan. Mix everything until smooth.

Place the pan in another larger pan. Pour water into a large saucepan. The water level should not reach about 5 cm to the bottom of the small pan. Place the resulting structure on the fire. After boiling water in a large saucepan, simmer the future liqueur in a water bath, stirring, for about 10 minutes.

The liqueur should thicken. You can check this by dipping a spatula into the liquor and running your finger over it: the mark should not disappear.

Remove the pan from the water bath. strain the liqueur through a sieve. Pour the liqueur into bottles and refrigerate. This liqueur should be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 3 weeks. Enjoy your tasting!
