Salt 0.33 tsp
Sugar 200 g
Wheat flour 200 g
Cocoa 50 g
Vegetable oil 100 ml
Chicken eggs 2 pc
Soda 1 tsp
Starch 1 tsp
Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
Kefir 250 ml

How to make a chocolate sponge cake with kefir? All ingredients for making a sponge cake should be at room temperature, and the kefir should preferably be sour. Sift 200 gr. flour, adding 50 gr. cocoa powder. Add 1 tsp. starch, 1 tsp. soda, 1/3 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. vanilla sugar and mix well until smooth and dry.

Break 2 chicken eggs into a large bowl.

Add 200 g in small portions. Sahara.

Beat well with a mixer until white and airy.

Add 100 ml little by little. vegetable oil and beat.

Add 250 ml. warm kefir and continue whisking.

Add the dry mixture one tablespoon at a time to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly with a whisk.

Place the resulting chocolate dough, which resembles the consistency of thick sour cream, into a mold, the bottom and sides of which are previously covered with parchment.

Rotate the pan on the table and evenly distribute the dough in it, filling all the spaces. Be sure to cover the pan with foil, grease the inside of it with butter and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35 minutes.

We lower the oven temperature to 160 after 35 minutes and continue baking the biscuit for another 40 minutes without opening the oven. We take our sponge cake out of the oven, remove the foil with the mold, place it on the table and remove it from the parchment.

The result is a smooth, fluffy and porous sponge cake, which we place on a stand and cool.
