Basic:

Sugar 150 g
Wheat flour 200 g
Butter (or margarine) 100 g
Milk (or kefir) 175 ml
Eggs 1 pc
Baking powder 2 tsp
Cherry (fresh, canned or frozen, pitted.) 200 g

Beat the egg with sugar and melted butter until the sugar dissolves.

Add milk or kefir and mix.

Add flour with baking powder and mix to form a dough like thick sour cream.

Place half a spoonful of dough into muffin cups greased with vegetable oil. Place 4-5 cherries in each muffin.

Cover with dough, I got 10 muffins.

Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
