Kefir 300 ml
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Wheat flour 480 g
Soda 1 tsp
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp

For filling::

Eggs 6 pc
Green onions 200 g
Salt to taste

How to make pies with onions and eggs on kefir? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes in advance. Then drain the hot water and cool them in cold water. Sift the flour through a sieve to saturate it with oxygen.

To prepare the dough, take a comfortable deep bowl. Pour warm kefir into the bowl and add soda. Stir. The soda will immediately react with the kefir and begin to bubble. You will learn all the intricacies of working with soda by reading the article at the end of this recipe.

Then add sugar, salt and vegetable oil to the bowl. Mix everything.

The finished dough is soft, plastic and does not stick to your hands. Cover it with a towel and let it sit for a while while you prepare the filling for the pies.

To prepare the filling, finely chop a bunch of green onions.

Place the chopped onion in a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Season the onion with salt so that it becomes softer and begins to release juice.

Peel the cooled eggs and chop finely. Add the eggs to the onions and mix everything well until smooth.

Cut the dough into pieces. The number of pieces depends on what size you want the pies to be. I made 16 pies. Roll out each piece of dough a little or knead it with your hands. Place some onion filling in the center, pinch the edges and form into a pie.
