Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
You and I will need: dried bread, milk, some cottage cheese, an egg and granulated sugar.

Step 2

Step 2
We put the dryers in a deep container. A little about the dryers themselves: it is better to buy small ones, and most importantly, if possible, not covered with any glaze. These will soak up milk faster and better.

Step 3

Step 3
And so, fill our dryers with milk and leave them to soak for 15-20 minutes. This time is indicated in the recipe, but the drying times are different and the main thing is not the time, but that they are completely saturated. My dryings, unfortunately, were coated and it took me 30-40 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
In the meantime, while our dryers are getting wet, we calmly take the cottage cheese and put it in a bowl. Add granulated sugar and break the egg there.

Step 5

Step 5
Then mix the cottage cheese, granulated sugar and egg until smooth.

Step 6

Step 6
We have plenty of time and take our time to light the oven... We take a baking sheet and cover it with baking paper or parchment. For my 150 grams of sushi, I needed a baking sheet approximately 29 by 43 cm — these are internal measurements.

Step 7

Step 7
And so our dryers are soaked in milk and we place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. It is advisable not to drip milk onto the paper in places free from dryers.

Step 8

Step 8
Now we take the curd mass with a teaspoon and fill the middles of the dryers. I took it on the tip of the spoon, so the mass slipped off faster..... Having filled all the dryers, we put our baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. And bake for about 10 -15 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. Attention, the time depends on your oven.

Step 9

Step 9
Well, the last thing — put the finished cheesecakes on a plate... and enjoy your tea... Or you can just do it with milk.!!!
