Olive oil 3 tbsp

Wheat flour 450 g
Salt 0.5 tsp
Soda 1 tsp
Kefir 300 ml

How to make yeast-free bread in a bread machine? Prepare your food. Instead of wheat flour, you can use whole grain or first grade flour. Kefir is suitable for any fat content. You can use any vegetable oil. I chose Italian herbs as an additive; you can use any others or leave them out altogether.

Take a bread maker bucket. Install the stirrer blade. Place all the ingredients in it according to your model — I use bulk ingredients first. First, pour the sifted flour into the bread machine. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. This will make the bread more airy and rise better when baking.

Pour kefir into a bucket, add soda.

A mixture of Provencal herbs (or your other favorite herbs).

Place the dough on the “Kneading” program for 10 minutes (it is not recommended to knead kefir dough for a long time), add flour or kefir if necessary. Then set the “Baking” program for 1.5 hours. I advise you to keep an eye on the bread during the process, it may cook earlier. Programs for kneading dough and baking bread may differ depending on the bread machine model; follow the instructions for your specific modification.

After the end of the program, remove the golden brown bread from the bread maker, remove the stirrer blade from it and let the bread cool. Hot bread crumbles a lot when cutting.
