Itʼs good that apples are available to us all year round. I made this cupcake from our country apples. But in principle, any variety can be used. Only if you use sweet apples, it is better to reduce the amount of sugar in the dough.

Wheat flour 210 g
Sugar 180 g
Apples 160 g
Yogurt 120 g
Butter 115 g
Eggs 2 pc

Lemon zest 2 tbsp
Baking powder 0.5 tsp
Soda 0.25 tsp
Vanillin 0.25 tsp

Glaze:

Powdered sugar 75 g
Lemon juice 2 tbsp

To prepare an apple cake we will need: flour, sugar, yogurt (preferably apple, so the cake will have a richer apple flavor); eggs, soft butter, lemon zest, vanillin, soda, baking powder and vegetable oil for greasing the pan. Place the dough in a greased baking pan. Bake for about 45 minutes at 180°C. Check doneness with a wooden skewer.

How to make cupcake frosting? To prepare the glaze we will need: powdered sugar and lemon juice.

Combine powdered sugar with lemon juice and stir until smooth. It is better to add not all the juice, but in parts. The finished glaze should be quite thick, but fluid.
