Sugar 0.5 cup
Poppy food 300 g
Walnuts 100 g
Raisin 60 g
Honey 3 tbsp
Semolina 2 tsp

I bought the poppy seed already ground. The recipe called for regular. If you have ordinary poppy seeds, then you need to pour boiling water over it for an hour or two. Then grind 2 times in a meat grinder.

So first we make shortcrust pastry. To do this, mix soft butter with flour and powdered sugar. Do not add all the flour at once. Mix everything and add the egg. Then the rest of the flour.

This is how the dough turned out. Well, usually we put the shortbread dough in the cold for half an hour. This is to stabilize it. Then we divide it into 2 parts.

Now letʼs take the paper. Place one part on it and roll out the cake through the film.

We measure with a form. That is, we apply it on top. Trim off excess dough. And if necessary, we’ll add it where it’s missing.

And we quickly make the filling. Raisins need to be poured with boiling water for 30 minutes in advance. Letʼs strain it. Dry with paper napkins. And grind it with a blender.

Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Mix soft butter with sugar. Beat with a mixer or whisk. Letʼs add the yolks.

Add flour, honey, ground nuts.
