How to cook classic soup with sausage? Prepare the necessary products. If you want a thicker soup, use more potatoes and noodles.

Wash the pre-peeled carrots under running water, dry and cut into thin strips.

Peel the onion, wash it, cut it into small cubes.

Cut the sausage into medium cubes. Choose good quality sausage to make the soup tastier.

Heat the vegetable oil slightly in a frying pan, add the prepared carrots and onions. Fry the vegetables over moderate heat, stirring, for 5-7 minutes.

Add sausage to vegetables, stir. Continue to fry for a few more minutes until the vegetables are soft.

Wash the potatoes under running water with a brush, peel, rinse and cut into medium cubes.

Pour water into a saucepan of suitable volume and bring to a boil. Place the prepared potatoes in and let the water boil. Cook the potatoes over low heat for 5-10 minutes, add salt.

Add the roasted vegetables and sausage to the pan. Turn up the heat until the soup comes to a boil.

Cook the soup at a moderate boil so that the vegetables do not become overcooked. After 5-7 minutes, taste the soup and check the readiness of the potatoes. Depending on the type of potato, cooking time may take a little longer. If necessary, add salt to the soup. Add vermicelli to the pan and stir.

Dip in the pre-washed bay leaf. Cook the soup for 2-3 minutes depending on the quality of the noodles. If you use spider web vermicelli, 1 minute is enough.
