Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to cook Cheeseburger soup with minced meat? To make cheeseburger soup, prepare the necessary ingredients. Since classic cheeseburgers are made from beef, the minced meat in the soup needs only beef, without any admixture of other types of meat. We can use regular ground beef or lean ground beef.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash and peel all vegetables. Cut carrots, potatoes and celery into small cubes.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the onion. In general, for soup it is better to cut onions into small cubes, but in our family they don’t like onions in this form, so I don’t chop them, but leave them whole and throw them away at the end of cooking.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the cheeseburger cheese into small pieces. Use processed cheese for cheeseburgers in portioned slices. This cheese differs from others in its rich yellow color. As a last resort, you can replace it with regular cheddar cheese, which needs to be grated on a fine grater. Of course, you can use any other cheese, but the taste will be different.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan, add minced beef and fry, stirring, for about 5 minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
When all the minced meat turns brownish and begins to release moisture, add chopped potatoes, carrots and celery to the pan, as well as onions if you want to add them chopped to the soup. Fry everything together, stirring, for about 5 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Place a whole onion in the pan; if you want to add it whole, add beef broth.

Step 8

Step 8
If the frying pan is small and the whole soup will not fit in it, then pour the vegetables and broth into the pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer the minced meat with vegetables at a gentle simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Meanwhile, melt the butter in another frying pan.

Step 10

Step 10
Add sifted flour and stir. Pour milk into the sauce little by little, stirring constantly and breaking up any lumps. If there are still lumps in the sauce, rub it through a sieve.

Step 11

Step 11
Add the cheese to the milk base and stir until all the cheese has dissolved.

Step 12

Step 12
This is the thick cheese sauce you should end up with.

Step 13

Step 13
Pour the cheese mixture into the soup, pepper and stir.

Step 14

Step 14
Cover the soup with a lid and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes. Then remove the cheese soup from the heat and let it brew under the lid for about 10 minutes and serve. Bon appetit!
