Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make buckwheat in a sleeve in the oven? Prepare your food. In addition to champignons, you can take any other mushrooms, both wild and cultivated. Pre-boil the forest ones depending on the variety. Wash and peel the onions and carrots.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the onion into small cubes.

Step 3

Step 3
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. It can also be cut into any pieces. Keep in mind that the final result in this dish depends on how you chop the carrots: grated carrots during heat treatment will turn into pulp and mix evenly with the rest of the ingredients; cut into strips or cubes will retain their shape.

Step 4

Step 4
Wipe the champignons with a damp sponge — this will prevent the mushrooms from absorbing excess water. Cut them into large pieces.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat the buckwheat in a dry frying pan for several minutes until a characteristic smell appears. Make the heat low and stir the cereal from time to time.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat vegetable oil for frying in a frying pan over medium heat. Place onions and carrots in it. Fry them, stirring, until softened.

Step 7

Step 7
Add champignons to vegetables. Fry everything together, stirring, for about 10 minutes. To make the mushrooms give juice, salt them.

Step 8

Step 8
Take a baking dish. Cut a piece of sleeve about 80cm long. Tie one end with a strong knot. Place the sleeve into the mold. Pour buckwheat into it, add fried mushrooms and vegetables. Pour boiling water into the sleeve. Take the amount of water in a ratio of 1:2 — for one part of cereal, two parts of water. Salt the products and mix.

Step 9

Step 9
Tie the free end of the sleeve. Using a toothpick, make several punctures to allow steam to escape. Place the mold with the sleeve in the oven, preheated to 180°C. Cook the dish for about 30 minutes. Buckwheat should absorb all the water. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven.

Step 10

Step 10
Remove the finished dish from the oven, carefully cut the sleeve.

Step 11

Step 11
Serve the buckwheat to the table. Bon appetit!
