Baked Spiced Oatmeal with Pears and Nuts

Unconventional oatmeal is a great way to start your day. Oatmeal cooked in the oven has a completely different taste than oatmeal cooked on the stove. Supplemented with fruits, nuts and spice aromas, the porridge turns out to be extremely tasty. Even those who don’t really like it will probably like this oatmeal.

Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Sugar 1 tbsp
Nutmeg (ground) 0.25 tsp
Cereals ("Hercules") 75 g
Butter (for lubricating the mold) 5 g
Milk 250 ml
Raisin 35 g
Cream (10-20%) 100 ml
Almond 25 g
Pears (average) 1 pc
Hazelnut 25 g
Ground cinnamon 0.5 tsp

To prepare spicy oatmeal with pear and nuts in the oven you will need: rolled oats, milk, cream, pear, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, hazelnuts, almonds, sugar.

I peeled the almonds. To do this, pour boiling water over the nuts for 10-15 minutes to soften the skins. Drain the water, peel the almonds and dry.

Grind hazelnuts and almonds in a convenient way. You can use a rolling pin, grater or blender.

Combine oat flakes, washed and dried raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, chopped nuts, mix.

Pour the resulting mixture with milk and stir. Leave for 20 minutes to allow the oatmeal to swell slightly.

Wash the pear, dry it, cut into small cubes.

Add cream and chopped pear to the oat mixture and stir.

To grease the pan we will need a piece of butter.

Place the resulting mixture into a greased form.

Simmer the oatmeal in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes. The oatmeal should become soft and absorb all the milk.

Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle sugar on top and leave for 5 minutes again, turning on the top heat. Serve the spiced oatmeal warm. Bon appetit!
