How to make chicken with cheese in the oven with sour cream? Prepare the necessary products. You can fillet any part of the chicken: breast, thigh, drumstick. I use chicken breast. Of course, poultry meat needs to be chilled — it contains much more useful substances. Natural sour cream, any level of fat content. If desired, you can replace it with heavy cream or mayonnaise. I still do not recommend using mayonnaise, because... It is better not to heat treat it

Add chopped garlic to sour cream (cream, mayonnaise). I put it through a press, but it’s quite possible to grate the clove on a fine grater or simply chop it with a knife.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, add half the cheese to the sour cream and mix.

Wash the chicken well, dry and cut into pieces. The pieces can be any size you want.

Prepare a heatproof dish for cooking. Take a mold with fairly high sides, because... When baking, the chicken will release juice and it may leak out of the pan. Place pieces of chopped chicken fillet into the pan.

Salt the chicken fillet. At this stage, you can also add your other favorite herbs or seasonings: perhaps it will be hot ground pepper or suneli hops. The most preferred herbs are thyme, rosemary or the traditional fresh dill, parsley or cilantro.

Place the remaining grated cheese on top.

Wrap the mold in foil, but make sure that it does not fit tightly to the cheese, otherwise during the cooking process the cheese will melt and stick to the foil so much that you can’t get it away from it. Cook in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 35 minutes. You can remove the foil 10 minutes before the end of cooking if you want to get a golden brown crust. Or bake completely the entire time, covering the pan with foil.
