Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a chicken breast chop in the oven with cheese and tomatoes? Prepare your food. Rinse the meat in running water and dry with paper towels or napkins. Cut each chicken breast crosswise into two equal parts. It is best to use chilled, fresh meat that has not been frozen for this recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Cover the chicken breast pieces with cling film and pound with a meat mallet. Then turn the pieces over and beat them a little more on the other side. It is very convenient to beat meat using cling film — a piece of meat retains its shape and splashes from it do not scatter throughout the kitchen.

Step 3

Step 3
Cover a baking tray with foil and grease with vegetable oil. Place the chopped pieces of chicken breast on a baking sheet and brush them with a silicone brush over the entire surface with a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the tomatoes and cut into thin slices.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the chopped tomatoes over the surface of the meat. Sprinkle with a little salt and spices.

Step 6

Step 6
Separately, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 7

Step 7
Sprinkle chops with grated cheese. Try to sprinkle so that the cheese is all on the surface of the chop and does not fall on the baking sheet, otherwise it will burn during baking. Also sprinkle the meat with a little chopped dill or other herbs to taste. Place the baking sheet with chicken chops in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for 30 minutes. The cheese should be melted and browned on top. Times are approximate. Read about ovens at the end of the recipe.

Step 8

Step 8
Remove the finished chops from the oven and place on serving plates. Serve them with any side dish, with a fresh vegetable salad or simply with chopped vegetables. Bon appetit!
