How to make rice with vegetables and chicken in the oven? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. For this dish it is better to use steamed or long rice. You can use the whole chicken or any part of it, depending on how many people the dish is being prepared for; you can use fillets or thighs separately. The set of vegetables can also be changed according to taste and availability.

Wash the chicken, cut into portions and dry with paper napkins. Rub the pieces of meat with salt and ground black pepper, and any other spices to taste. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it well and fry the cooked chicken in the oil; there is no need to fry it until fully cooked. The main task is to allow the meat to brown and acquire a beautiful golden brown crust.

Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water becomes clear, place it in an enamel bowl, add a fresh batch of water and put on fire. Add a pinch of salt during cooking. Boil the rice for literally 8 minutes from the moment the water boils. There is no need to boil the rice until completely cooked; we just need to let it swell and prepare it for baking.

Wash the carrots, peel and cut into small cubes. You can use fresh vegetables or ready-made frozen mixture.

Peel the onions and finely chop with a knife. You can use fresh or frozen green peas, corn, green beans and other vegetables.

Combine the rice with cooked vegetables, add salt and pepper to taste and stir.

Grease a baking dish with oil. Fill it two-thirds with rice and vegetables. Place fried chicken pieces on top, submerging them slightly into the rice. Fill the contents of the mold with water until it covers it halfway. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the pan with rice and chicken in the oven for 30 minutes.
