Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Wash the chicken fillet thoroughly under running water and dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into small cubes or pieces of arbitrary shape. Wash the chicken again and let the water drain.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onions and finely chop them with a knife.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour vegetable oil into a deep frying pan or saucepan. Fry the chicken fillet until the meat whitens and a slight blush appears, stirring with a spatula over medium heat, remove it from the pan.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the onions in the remaining oil in the pan and fry them over medium heat, stirring with a spatula, until the onions become translucent and begin to brown a little. We also remove the onion from the pan and place it in a bowl with the chicken.

Step 5

Step 5
Add wheat flour to the frying pan where the onions were fried and, stirring with a spatula, fry them together for 2-3 minutes. Pour water into the pan and immediately begin stirring so that the flour does not form lumps and the sauce does not burn. When the mixture begins to thicken, add cream or thick sour cream diluted with water and, continuing to stir with a spatula, let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
Add spices to the sauce: salt, ground black pepper and paprika, pressed garlic, mix the sauce with the spices so that they are completely dispersed in the mixture. Then add the fried chicken fillet and onions to the saucepan with the sauce, mix, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the chicken in the sauce over low heat for about 10 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Add chopped, pre-washed green onions to the meat in the sauce; it will make the dish juicier and more flavorful. Stir, keep on fire for another 2-3 minutes and turn off the heat.

Step 8

Step 8
The dish is ready. Serve it to the table, optionally with or without a side dish. Bon appetit!
