How to make dumplings with strawberries? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Any berries will do, but small berries are more convenient for making dumplings. If the strawberries are too large, you can cut them into two or three parts. Be sure to sift the flour. Thanks to this, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished dough will turn out more tender.

First you need to knead the dough. To do this, add salt to warm water and stir until the crystals dissolve.

Beat the egg into the sifted flour and pour in salted water in a thin stream. Knead a soft, non-stick dough.

Please note that the amount of flour indicated is approximate, since the density of flour varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. You may need a little more or less flour. The main thing is not to over-mix the dough so that it does not become too stiff. Otherwise, dumplings with strawberries will be tough and not tasty. Place the finished dough in a bag to rest for 30-40 minutes. During this time, the gluten of the flour will develop, making the finished dough pliable and elastic.

Divide the dough into 3-4 parts. Roll each part into a rope and cut into small pieces. Dip the pieces a little in flour and roll into flat cakes. Place a couple of strawberries on the sticky side of each scone and sprinkle with half a teaspoon of the sugar-starch mixture.

Bring the edges of the dough together. Form all the dumplings in the same way and place them on a plate or board sprinkled with flour. If you are not going to cook the dumplings right away, then put them in the freezer. After freezing, carefully remove the dumplings and put them in a bag for further storage.

Pour water into a saucepan, add salt to taste and put on fire. Place the dumplings into boiling water and stir. Cook from the moment of boiling for 2-3 minutes, no more.
