Step 1

Step 1
How to cook cranberry jelly with starch? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Remove cranberries from twigs and leaves and rinse to remove dirt. Take potato starch. The amount of sugar can be adjusted slightly to suit your taste. The amount of starch can also be changed, depending on the desired thickness of the jelly. After the first preparation, you will be able to decide on the exact amount.

Step 2

Step 2
Grind the washed berries in any convenient way. This can be done in a chopper, scrolled through a meat grinder or crushed with a masher.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour boiling water over the chopped berries and leave to stand for 15-20 minutes under the lid. During this time, all the juices from the berries will go into the water.

Step 4

Step 4
Now strain through a fine strainer.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour the resulting juice into a saucepan, add sugar and put on fire. In a separate glass, mix starch and cold water. When the cranberry juice boils, pour the starch into it, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil again and simmer for 1-2 minutes over low heat. As it boils, the jelly will become thicker.

Step 6

Step 6
The finished jelly is very tasty both hot and cold. To prevent a film from forming on the surface as it cools, sprinkle the jelly with a thin layer of sugar. A delicious berry treat for children and adults is ready! Enjoy your meal!
