Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry zucchini in a frying pan with garlic? Prepare the sauce first so it has time to sit while the zucchini roasts.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the dill, dry and finely chop.

Step 3

Step 3
In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, pressed garlic, as well as salt and pepper.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix everything well. Let the sauce sit.

Step 5

Step 5
To prepare delicious zucchini in garlic batter, prepare the necessary ingredients. Regular pale green zucchini, zucchini, and yellow zucchini will all work for this dish. It is important that the zucchini is not very large, fresh, with thin skin and small seeds.

Step 6

Step 6
Wash the zucchini thoroughly. The young, tender skin does not need to be cut off. Dry the vegetables, cut off the ends of the zucchini and cut lengthwise into cubes. The sticks should be long enough to fit in the frying pan and not very thick so that they have time to fry well and quickly.

Step 7

Step 7
Now prepare the batter. If you visually see that one egg is not enough for the batter or the egg is small, take two. You can replace dry garlic powder with 1 clove of fresh garlic, passed through a press, but fresh garlic can burn in a frying pan, so such a replacement is not advisable. If you have enough garlic in the sauce, then you don’t have to add garlic to the batter at all.

Step 8

Step 8
In a bowl, beat the egg with milk.

Step 9

Step 9
Add flour (I recommend sifting it through a sieve to avoid lumps) and mix thoroughly until smooth. Add dry garlic, salt and pepper to the batter and mix again. The consistency should be semi-viscous and fluid, similar to pancake batter.

Step 10

Step 10
Roll each zucchini block in flour on all sides. Depending on the size of the zucchini, you may need a little more flour. If you want to speed up the process, I advise you to put the zucchini in a bag, add flour to it, tie the bag and shake it well. This will ensure that the flour is evenly distributed throughout all the zucchini.

Step 11

Step 11
Then dip the zucchini in the batter on all sides.

Step 12

Step 12
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the zucchini in the batter and fry on all sides over medium heat until golden brown.

Step 13

Step 13
Place the finished zucchini on paper napkins to absorb excess fat.

Step 14

Step 14
Serve fried zucchini in batter with sour cream and garlic sauce. Delicious! Bon appetit!
