How to make chicken liver with mushrooms? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this! Rinse the liver in running water and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. I will use fresh champignons as mushrooms. But they can be replaced with oyster mushrooms or wild mushrooms.

Peel the onion and rinse in cold water. Cut the peeled onion into half rings or a little smaller. Heat a frying pan until hot and pour vegetable oil into it. Add the chopped onion and fry it for a minute. A characteristic aroma will appear from the onion.

Cut the chicken liver into small pieces, removing the membranes. Place the chopped liver in the pan with the onions. Fry everything together for 2-3 minutes until the liver changes color.

Rinse the champignons well to remove dirt. Cut the champignons into pieces. You can cut them into slices or simply cut each mushroom into 2-4 parts.

Place the chopped mushrooms in the frying pan next to the liver and mix everything. Cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat for 12-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure nothing burns.

The finished liver in the crack should be uniformly gray in color, without a pink tint. At the end of cooking, add sour cream and garlic, passed through a press, into the pan. Add salt and spices to taste. You can add ground pepper as a spice. Warm everything well with sour cream.
