Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make an omelette with spinach in a frying pan? Very simple and fast! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You need large, selected eggs; if the eggs are small, take 4 pieces.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the spinach and dry. Separate the petioles from the leaves. If you canʼt buy fresh spinach, frozen spinach will do. It will need to be defrosted first and the liquid released during defrosting must be drained. It is better to choose young, ungrown spinach, then it will probably not taste bitter. Spinach leaves should be wide and deep dark green in color.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash green peas and dry. Peas are suitable fresh or frozen. Before adding, scald frozen peas with boiling water and dry.

Step 4

Step 4
Beat the eggs with a whisk in a deep bowl until the whites and yolks combine.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour in the milk, salt and pepper the mixture and beat again until smooth.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Add the spinach and wait a few seconds until the leaves release their juices.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour in the beaten egg-milk mixture. When the bottom of the omelet is set, use a spatula to lift the edge and tilt the pan so that some of the liquid omelet mixture flows under the bottom of the omelet onto the hot bottom of the pan.

Step 8

Step 8
Sprinkle green peas on top of the omelette. If you wish, you can additionally sprinkle the omelette with grated cheese.

Step 9

Step 9
Reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and cook the omelette for another 3-4 minutes until done. The top of the omelet should be completely set.

Step 10

Step 10
Transfer the hot omelette to a plate and serve. Bon appetit!
