Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make squid in soy sauce for beer? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Thaw frozen squids first. If the squids are whole, clean them of skin, internal films, remove the chitinous plate and entrails.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the squid carcasses into rings about 1 centimeter wide.

Step 3

Step 3
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Donʼt add salt. Place the squid rings into boiling water. Cook the squid after the water boils for exactly one minute. You don’t need to cook longer, otherwise they will become rubbery and tasteless. By the way, it’s convenient to cook the squid directly in a metal colander. This will make it convenient to immediately remove the squid so as not to overcook them. And it will be much more convenient to drain excess water.

Step 4

Step 4
Prepare the marinade. In a separate bowl, pour soy sauce. Cut a few rings of hot chili pepper, after washing it and removing the seeds. Add the chopped peppers to the soy sauce and stir.

Step 5

Step 5
Add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. It is also called fish sauce, oyster sauce or Worcestershire sauce. Mix the marinade.

Step 6

Step 6
Add marinade to squid. And, after mixing thoroughly, leave them to marinate for a maximum of 15 minutes. After which they will be ready to serve. I used a vacuum sealer to help the squid soak in the marinade faster. It only took me seven minutes to do this. Bon appetit!
