Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make Philadelphia rolls with salmon? Prepare the required ingredients for them. Take round rice, especially for rolls. Try to take fresh, crispy cucumbers with a soft skin. Salmon or other red fish — lightly salted or, if you are ready for it, raw.

Step 2

Step 2
For sushi, you need to properly boil the rice — any round rice will do. Rinse it thoroughly, rubbing the grains between your fingers, change the water 5 times — it should become transparent. This is a very important point!

Step 3

Step 3
Pour clean water over the washed rice and place over high heat, bringing to a boil. The ratio of water to rice here is 1:1.25.

Step 4

Step 4
After boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook the rice over low heat for 15 minutes, do not open the lid or stir.

Step 5

Step 5
Meanwhile, prepare the rice dressing: add salt and sugar to the rice vinegar and mix well.

Step 6

Step 6
The gas station is ready!

Step 7

Step 7
You can immediately peel and cut the cucumber into strips. If the cucumber has tender skin, you can leave it on. The crispier the cucumber, the better.

Step 8

Step 8
Remove the rice from the heat and let it sit for another 10 minutes, covered.

Step 9

Step 9
Pour the prepared dressing over the rice and stir, ideally with a wooden spatula.

Step 10

Step 10
Let the rice cool slightly and your perfect sushi rice is ready!

Step 11

Step 11
Cut the nori sheet into 2 halves. Wrap the mat for rolling rolls with cling film or simply lay a clean bag on top.

Step 12

Step 12
Wet your hands in water and place a thin layer of boiled rice on the rough side of the nori sheet.

Step 13

Step 13
Using a mat, carefully turn the nori sheet over so the rice is facing down.

Step 14

Step 14
Place soft cheese in the middle of the sheet, ideally, of course, Philadelphia cheese, but you can use another, more affordable cream cheese.

Step 15

Step 15
Place cucumber slices on top of the cheese. If you wish, you can also add avocado.

Step 16

Step 16
Using a mat, carefully roll the roll.

Step 17

Step 17
Slice the salmon thinly and place it on the mat in front of the roll. This, I must tell you, turned out to be quite a difficult moment. To do this, the fish must be of very good quality; it will be better if you salt it yourself — this way you will know exactly what raw materials it is made from. It will be easier to slice thinly if the fish is slightly frozen.

Step 18

Step 18
Using the same mat, roll the roll so that it is covered with a layer of red fish. Using a knife dipped in water, carefully cut the Philadelphia roll into 6-8 pieces.

Step 19

Step 19
Serve the rolls with soy sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bon appetit!
