How to fry country-style potatoes in a frying pan? The recipe is simple and quick. First, prepare the necessary ingredients: you only need potatoes, oil and spices. It is better to take vegetable oil special for frying. Take medium-sized potatoes, the tubers are smooth and oval. I used new potatoes, but any other potato will do.

Country-style potatoes are cooked with the skins on. Therefore, it is necessary to rinse the potatoes very thoroughly and rub them with a brush. If there is a lot of stuck soil on the peel that is difficult to clean, fill the potatoes with water and leave to soak for 30 minutes. After this, the dirt can be easily cleaned off.

Cut each potato lengthwise into 4 wedges. It is better to use special varieties of potatoes intended for frying. Inside, such potatoes have yellowish flesh and little starch. If you see that your vegetables contain a lot of starch, then it is better to rinse such potatoes with water to wash off the starch from the surface.

Place the potatoes in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika and turmeric.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the potatoes and fry, stirring every 3 minutes, until the potatoes are done. The potatoes should be soft on the inside and golden brown on the outside. The exact time depends on the size of the potatoes, the thickness of the pan and the heat level. It took me about 20 minutes to fry.
