Wheat flour 1.5 tbsp
Milk 50 ml
Eggs 3 pc
Hard cheese 70 g
Vegetable oil (for lubricating the mold) 1 tsp
Soda 0.25 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make an omelette with cheese in the oven? Prepare your food. Wash and dry the eggs. I have category C1. Milk is suitable for any fat content. Take odorless oil. It will be needed to lubricate the mold. Instead of vegetable, you can use cream.

Step 2

Step 2
Grate the cheese on a medium grater — it will melt faster. In addition to hard cheese, you can take any other one that melts well. Choose a natural product, without added vegetable fats. How to replace different types of cheeses, read in a separate article under the steps.

Step 3

Step 3
Beat the eggs into a deep bowl. Add salt, soda and flour. Pour in the milk.

Step 4

Step 4
Beat everything with a mixer until smooth. If you donʼt have a mixer, mix the ingredients thoroughly with a regular hand whisk.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour grated cheese into the egg-milk mixture. You can also add your favorite seasonings and chopped herbs at this stage.

Step 6

Step 6
Stir the mixture.

Step 7

Step 7
Grease a baking dish with a small amount of vegetable (or butter) oil. Pour the omelette mixture into it. I have a form measuring 22*17 cm.

Step 8

Step 8
Bake the omelette in the oven, preheated to 180°C for about 20 minutes. Do not open the oven while baking, otherwise the omelette will fall off. How to check its readiness? A golden crust should form on the surface. It should not be liquid inside; pierce the omelette with a toothpick; if it is dry, remove from the oven. The finished omelette will settle a little, this is how it should be. Times are approximate. Read about the operation of ovens below the steps.

Step 9
Serve the omelet to the table, cutting into portions. Bon appetit!
