Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to stew chicken breast with mushrooms in creamy sauce? Prepare everything you need for this. Any mushroom can be used. I will cook with fresh champignons. I recommend using heavy cream. The fattier they are, the thicker and creamier the sauce will be.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the chicken breasts under running water and pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown. Then turn the heat down, cover the pan with a lid and leave the breasts to cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. The meat will add a little moisture. But, if necessary, you can add a little water.

Step 3

Step 3
In another frying pan, fry finely chopped onion for a minute until soft.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the champignons and cut into slices. Add the chopped champignons to the pan with the onions and fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes. During frying, the champignons will decrease in size.

Step 5

Step 5
Then pour the heavy cream into the pan. Add garlic, passed through a press. Add salt and spices to taste.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the fried breasts. Mix everything and simmer for another 5 minutes. Ready-made chicken breasts with mushrooms in creamy sauce are ready! Place on a plate and serve.

Step 7

Step 7
Complete the dish with fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!
