Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make zucchini with minced meat in a frying pan? First of all, prepare all the necessary products. You can use any minced meat: chicken, beef, pork or mixed. It’s better to take the meat and prepare the minced meat yourself, but you can use ready-made store-bought stuff. Take a small, medium-sized onion, and adjust the amount of garlic to your taste or completely exclude it from the food list.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onion and garlic and rinse in cold water. Chop the onion as finely as possible and the garlic into small cubes, or pass through a garlic press.

Step 3

Step 3
Add onion and garlic to the minced meat, salt and pepper to taste. At this stage, it is permissible to add your favorite dry seasonings such as dry basil, oregano or a mixture of aromatic dried herbs. Knead the minced meat thoroughly and leave to sit for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the zucchini and dry it with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut the vegetable into slices approximately 1-1.5 centimeters wide.

Step 5

Step 5
Cut out the center of each zucchini circle. This can be done using a special mold, a small glass or a knife. I used a glass, so the holes turned out perfectly even and it turned out to be much easier and faster to make them than with a regular knife. Lightly salt the slices.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix the minced meat well again. Fill each zucchini with minced meat. Do not stuff it too tightly so that the filling does not bulge, otherwise during the frying process it will separate from the zucchini and the appearance of the dish will not be so appetizing.

Step 7

Step 7
Roll each filled circle in flour on all sides.

Step 8

Step 8
Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe. Place the stuffed circles and fry them over moderate heat for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Be guided by your stove.

Step 9

Step 9
Turn the zucchini over and cook until done, frying for another three to four minutes. Place the finished circles on paper napkins to remove excess oil.

Step 10

Step 10
Done, serve before it cools.

Step 11

Step 11
If you have young zucchini without seeds and with a dense core, then the cut out remaining circles can also be sprinkled with a little salt and fried.
