Garlic 2 clove
Olive oil 50 ml
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper (1 pinch) to taste
Oregano (1 teaspoon) to taste
Lemons 0.5 pc

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make Greek salad dressing at home? First, prepare the ingredients for it, and then the salad itself, so that all that remains is to season it and serve it immediately. Wash the lemon and cut it in half crosswise. Take one half, remove the seeds and squeeze lemon juice out of it using any method. This can be done by hand, using a fork, but it is most convenient to use a citrus juicer.

Step 2

Step 2
Now peel the garlic. Grind the garlic cloves through a press. If you plan to eat the salad right away, mix the sauce in a small bowl. If you want to prepare only the dressing, and the salad later, you can use a small jar with a lid, on the bottom of which place chopped garlic, or rather garlic pulp.

Step 3

Step 3
Then add a little salt, a pinch of pepper and 1 teaspoon of oregano. Adjust the amount of spices to your taste.

Step 4

Step 4
Now pour the previously squeezed lemon juice into a bowl or jar.

Step 5

Step 5
Next, add olive oil to the spices and lemon juice. Instead of olive oil, you can use any vegetable oil you like. Mix all the ingredients of the sauce thoroughly with a fork. If you are mixing the sauce in a jar, then close it with a lid and shake several times so that the ingredients are evenly distributed in the dressing.

Step 6

Step 6
Greek salad sauce is ready! Season the salad with it and serve. If you prepared it in a jar and are not going to season the salad right away, then close the jar with a lid and put it in the refrigerator. Bon appetit!
