Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare all the necessary products. Take fresh broccoli; the head should be bright green and elastic to the touch. Of course, you can also take frozen cabbage, but in this case you need to defrost it well and drain all the liquid. Use large eggs, preferably homemade, or at least CO. Homemade eggs differ not only in size, but also have a brightly colored yolk, which will give the finished dish a beautiful color.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the cabbage very well — a lot of dirt accumulates in the small inflorescences, so pay special attention to the process of washing the cabbage. Cut off the stalk and divide the cabbage into florets of the desired size. Don’t leave them too big — you want them to still be convenient to eat the finished dish!

Step 3

Step 3
Boil water in a saucepan, add a little salt, add chopped cabbage and boil for 2-3 minutes. Do not cook for a long time — all the benefits are contained in raw and half-raw cabbage.

Step 4

Step 4
Drain the water, place the cabbage in a sieve and keep under cold running water. This procedure is necessary to preserve the bright green color of the cabbage.

Step 5

Step 5
Prepare a heat-resistant dish for preparing our dish. Lay out the cabbage. Keep in mind that if dishes tend to stick to your pan, grease the pan with a small amount of vegetable oil or butter first.

Step 6

Step 6
Lightly beat the eggs with a fork.

Step 7

Step 7
Add some salt. At this stage, you can add your favorite spices and seasonings to the egg mass. For some, just ground pepper or paprika will be enough, while others will decide to flavor it with garlic powder, herbes de Provence or fenugreek. Or maybe you decide to add fresh herbs (dill, parsley, cilantro) or a clove of fresh garlic or onion.

Step 8

Step 8
Add half of the grated cheese to the egg mixture. Cheese can be anything: hard, semi-hard, and even moldy. Stir.

Step 9

Step 9
Pour the mixture over the cabbage.

Step 10

Step 10
Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The eggs should be cooked and hold their shape well, and the cheese should be melted.

Step 11

Step 11
Serve the dish hot. Bon appetit!
