Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make lavash with cottage cheese and herbs? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take the lavash fresh and as thin as possible — then it will be better saturated with the filling. Cottage cheese, like sour cream, can have any fat content. Just keep in mind that this will ultimately change the calorie content of the dish. I chose dill from the greens, but in general, add the one you like. Like spices — they can be anything.

Step 2

Step 2
Prepare the filling. How to make the filling? Tackle the greens first. Wash it, dry it well with paper towels, and then finely chop it.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the garlic cloves and pass through a press. Take a bowl and mix sour cream, cottage cheese, herbs and garlic in it. If you get grainy cottage cheese, try punching it with an immersion blender so that the filling becomes more homogeneous and spreads better.

Step 4

Step 4
Add salt, pepper, mix all ingredients. Taste the curd mixture and add seasonings if necessary. The filling is ready.

Step 5

Step 5
Cut the pita bread into 4 equal parts. The most convenient way to do this is with culinary scissors.

Step 6

Step 6
Place 2-3 tablespoons of filling on each piece of pita bread. Spread it evenly over the entire surface.

Step 7

Step 7
Roll the pieces of pita bread into tubes. In general, you don’t have to bother with cutting the pita bread into rectangles, but coat the whole pita bread with the filling and roll it up.

Step 8

Step 8
Cut the resulting tubes (or a whole pita bread) into small pieces, 3 to 5 cm in size. The appetizer is ready, but it is better to keep it in the refrigerator for a while so that the pita bread is well soaked. Then serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
