Ground black pepper to taste
Carrot 130 g
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp

How to make a salad with fried cucumbers? First of all, prepare all the necessary ingredients that are indicated in the recipe.

Peel the carrots, onions and garlic. Wash all vegetables in cool water and dry with paper towels to remove any remaining moisture. Cut off the tails of the cucumbers. Rinse the greens.

Cut the onion in half, and then chop each half into thin half rings.

Grate the carrots for Korean salads.

Grate the cucumber in the same way.

Drain the cucumber in a colander to get rid of excess juice and leave it this way for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, start frying the vegetables.

Heat odorless vegetable oil in a frying pan. To fry vegetables, it is better to use a frying pan with a thick bottom. Place the onion in the oil and cook over moderate heat until a characteristic smell appears and the half rings become transparent. I like intensely fried onions in salad, so I cook until the onions acquire a golden hue. Remember to stir the onions periodically, otherwise they will burn.

Place the carrots in the pan. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring the vegetable frying from time to time.

When the carrots are ready, add the cucumbers to the pan. Stir gently and cook until the cucumber ribbons change color. It is important not to overcook the vegetables in the pan, otherwise the cucumber may turn into mush.

Add finely chopped garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Garlic can be omitted from the ingredient list if desired. If you want a spicy salad, add a pinch of ground chili pepper. Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped dill.
