Simple and very tasty, made from affordable products! Classic potato salad is prepared with the addition of celery and pickled cucumbers. It turns out to be satisfying and nutritious — an excellent option for a stand-alone dish for a snack, dinner or lunch.

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tsp
Ground black pepper to taste
Eggs 5 pc
Mustard 3 tsp
Potato 6 pc
Pickles (small size) 7 pc
Vinegar (9%) 1 tbsp
Mayonnaise 6 tbsp
Greenery to taste
Celery stalk 2 pc

How to make classic potato salad? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. The dressing can be prepared using sour cream, yogurt or mayonnaise. Take pickled or salted cucumbers. The quantity of each component can be adjusted to your taste.

Boil potatoes and eggs until tender and cool. Peel the potatoes and shell the eggs.

Peel the onion. To brighten the finished salad, I used red onion, but regular onion will do. Rinse celery stalks, greens, and onions and dry with paper towels.

Chop the onion and celery into small cubes. Cut the cucumbers into cubes or cubes. For convenience, you can use a vegetable cutter. Place all ingredients in a deep, comfortable bowl.

Prepare the dressing. Place mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, ground pepper and vinegar in a small bowl. Mix everything thoroughly and let it brew until the sugar is completely dissolved.
