Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make Rabbit salad with chicken? Prepare the necessary products. I used chicken fillet, you can use drumsticks or thighs

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the chicken and dry it. Rub the chicken with salt and spices and wrap in foil.

Step 3

Step 3
Bake the chicken in a preheated oven at 180 C for about 25 minutes. Baking time may vary, as it depends on the operating characteristics of the oven. Cool the finished chicken completely. You can boil the chicken or fry it in a pan.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the chicken meat into small cubes.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the eggs and boil them hard. How to hard boil eggs? To prevent eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 7-8 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature change. Set aside two whites and a little yolk for the top layer of the salad. Cut the remaining eggs into small cubes.

Step 6

Step 6
Also cut the pickled cucumbers into small cubes.

Step 7

Step 7
Wash the bell pepper and dry it. Remove seeds and stalks from the pepper and chop in the same way as the other ingredients. Leave a small piece of pepper to garnish the salad.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the chopped chicken on a suitable sized plate, forming a bunny face.

Step 9

Step 9
Lubricate the layer of chicken with mayonnaise. You can also use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt as a dressing. You can take them separately or mix them with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste — this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.

Step 10

Step 10
Place pickled cucumbers in the next layer and brush with mayonnaise. .

Step 11

Step 11
Then form a layer of boiled eggs and also pour mayonnaise on top.

Step 12

Step 12
The next layer is chopped bell pepper and also mayonnaise.

Step 13

Step 13
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. You can take hard, semi-hard or processed cheese.

Step 14

Step 14
I sprinkled the salad with cheese both on top and on the sides.

Step 15

Step 15
Boil the carrots until tender, cool, and peel. Grate the carrots on a fine grater.

Step 16

Step 16
Grate the egg whites on a fine grater.

Step 17

Step 17
Lightly coat the top and sides of the salad with mayonnaise and sprinkle with egg whites. I decorated part of the rabbit ears with boiled carrots. The rest of the carrots were mixed with a small amount of mayonnaise and formed into a bow. You can make eyes and a nose from olives, and a mouth from a piece of bell pepper. I sprinkled the muzzle near the nose with egg yolk, and the mustache with sprigs of greenery. Decorate the salad to your taste and according to your imagination.

Step 18

Step 18
Let the finished salad soak for a while in the refrigerator and serve on the holiday table. Bon appetit!
