Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Onion 0.5 pc
Garlic (optional) 1 clove
Tomatoes (medium size) 3 pc
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Mustard 1 tsp
Potato 4 pc
Vegetable oil 5 tbsp
Salted cucumbers (lightly salted) 3 pc
Lemons 0.5 pc
cucumbers (small size or 0.5 pcs. large salad cucumber) 3 pc

How to make a salad from potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers? Prepare all the necessary products according to the list indicated in the recipe. What oil is best for salad? Unrefined vegetable oil, flaxseed, olive or regular refined oil is suitable. I used olive oil in the recipe. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil until tender in lightly salted water.

Wash the cucumber and dry it. Cut into small cubes. Grind lightly salted cucumbers in the same way. It is permissible to use pickled cucumbers for the salad.

Cool the finished potatoes a little and peel them. Peel the onion and garlic (if using), rinse and dry. I usually use red onion or shallot for salads. These varieties have a milder taste and perfectly complement any salads.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and place in a deep bowl. Add chopped garlic and ground black pepper to taste. Mix everything.

Cut the onion into thin feathers or half rings, and the tomatoes into cubes. I used a few cherry tomatoes, cut into 4 pieces, and a couple of medium sized tomatoes. Send everything to the potatoes.

Add two types of cucumbers there. Prepare salad dressing. Mix oil, mustard and lemon juice in a deep small container.

Wash the greens, dry with napkins and chop finely. As greens, dill, parsley, green young onions or chives will perfectly complement the salad. Add the greens to the bowl and drizzle the dressing over the salad.

Mix everything well, let the salad brew for about 10-15 minutes. Taste for salt. Add salt and pepper if necessary. Serve it up!
