Forest Stump Salad

The salad most likely got its funny name because of the colors of the ingredients — brown, yellow, green — together it resembles a stump in the forest, and the decoration looks like a forest clearing. Ingredients (6 portions)

Basic:

Eggs (boiled) 2 pc
Walnuts 50 g
Hard cheese 100 g
Bulb onions 1 pc
Vegetable oil (for frying) 2 tbsp
Champignon (fresh or canned) 200 g
Mayonnaise 5 tbsp
Greenery (parsley or dill) 1 g
Olives 13 pc
Chicken fillet (pre-boiled) 200 g

Ingredients. Pre-cook the chicken fillet and eggs.

Roughly chop the champignons and onions.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat over high heat, then reduce to medium and fry the champignons.

Then add onions to them and fry until tender. Then place the pan in cold water to cool it faster.

Using a grater with large holes, grate hard cheese and eggs. Set aside some of the cheese separately for decoration.

We clean the walnuts from shells and partitions, chop them with a knife. Place the prepared ingredients into a large mixing bowl — chicken fillet, eggs, cheese, walnuts.

Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix. Then taste for salt, add salt if necessary and stir.
