Clean the squid from the skin, internal films, remove the chitinous plate and entrails. Rinse thoroughly. If the squids are frozen, defrost them first, but not completely — frozen squids are easier to clean. Boil the squid in salted boiling water for 1-2 minutes, no longer, otherwise they will become rubbery and tasteless. If you have unpeeled squids, take them with a reserve, because after cleaning the net weight of the seafood will decrease.

Cool the finished squids and cut into strips. You can replace boiled squids with canned ones.

Wash and dry the cucumbers. Cut into small cubes or strips. The peel, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off.
