How to make a simple avocado and tomato salad? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose tomatoes that are strong but juicy. Soft tomatoes will spread during slicing and spoil the appearance of the salad. You can use regular or red onions for the salad. I decided to take red — it looks prettier in this salad.

Peel the avocado, cut in half and remove the pit. Cut the avocado into small cubes.

Place the chopped avocado in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice. This is necessary so that the avocado does not darken.

Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and remove the stem. Then cut the tomatoes into large slices. Place them in a bowl with the chopped avocado.

Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings. Then pour boiling water over the onion to remove the bitterness. Drain off excess water by draining the onion in a colander.
