Choose crab sticks with a whiter, brighter red top, then the appetizer will turn out just as bright and expressive. Processed cheese needs semi-solid “Druzhba” or “Yantar”, which can be grated. You can replace processed cheese with regular hard cheese. Large, selected eggs are needed.

Grate the crab sticks on a fine grater. Set aside a third of the grated crab sticks to decorate the appetizer. To make it easier to grate crab sticks, first place them in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.
