Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake meat loaf in the oven at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. If you want your bread to have a beautiful pink color, you need to use nitrite salt instead of regular salt. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.

Step 2

Step 2
Grind the ice in a blender or break it into small grains with a hammer and put it in the freezer so that it does not melt.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the meat and lard into medium pieces. Place the pieces in a bag of a suitable size and place in the freezer for 25-30 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
Place cooled pork and beef meat and lard into a blender bowl.

Step 5

Step 5
Beat everything until smooth. If you have a small blender, like mine, then it is better to beat the meat in small portions. Otherwise, the blender will quickly overheat and may turn off. Then you will have to wait a long time until it cools down.

Step 6

Step 6
Add all the necessary seasonings, salt and baking powder to the meat. Beat everything in the blender again.

Step 7

Step 7
While continuing to whisk, gradually add crushed ice. The result should be a homogeneous shiny mass.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the finished meat mixture in a rectangular silicone mold and smooth it out. Tap the pan on the table several times to release excess air. Bake the bread in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 1 hour. Then turn off the oven and leave the bread in it for another 10 minutes.
