Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to marinate milk mushrooms in a hot way? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary products. Freshly picked small mushrooms are perfect for pickling. Soak the milk mushrooms in cold water for a day or two. The water should be changed 2-3 times a day. This is done in order to remove excess bitterness from the mushrooms.

Step 2

Step 2
Next, wash each mushroom thoroughly. I usually use a toothbrush or sponge for this. For convenience, you can also use a small knife.

Step 3

Step 3
Place the mushrooms in a saucepan of suitable size. Cut large caps into portions, leave small milk mushrooms whole. Fill with cold water, add a little salt and place on high heat. When boiling, foam forms, remove it with a spoon. Reduce the heat on the stove and cook the milk mushrooms over moderate heat for at least 20 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
At this time, make the marinade. Pour cold water into the pan. Add salt, sugar, as well as bay leaf and peppercorns. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Step 5

Step 5
Drain the finished mushrooms in a colander.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the milk mushrooms in a saucepan with the marinade, add a few cloves of garlic and cook everything together for 15 minutes. Pour in the vinegar and keep on the stove for another 1-2 minutes. Sterilize jars and lids in advance. How to properly sterilize containers for workpieces, read the article at the end of the recipe.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the milk mushrooms in sterile jars and close with sterile lids.

Step 8

Step 8
Turn the jars upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave to cool completely and then store in a cool place.
