Salt 0.5 tsp
Ground black pepper to taste
Bouillon 2 cup
Bulb onions 0.5 pc
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Parboiled rice 150 g
Frozen vegetables 250 g

How to make rice with frozen vegetables in a frying pan? Prepare your ingredients. You can take any vegetables you like; ready-made mixtures are also suitable for cooking — Mexican, Italian and others. I took broccoli, green peas, carrots, bell peppers and green beans. You will also need broth — it can be meat, vegetable, cube broth or just hot water. It is preferable to take steamed rice; I use long grain rice.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat the pan over high heat. You can also use garlic instead of onions. Fry the chopped onion in hot oil for a few minutes until translucent.

Place frozen vegetables in a frying pan with the onions and fry them over medium heat for 10 — 15 minutes until soft, stirring occasionally. If the frozen vegetables are too large, then before frying it is better to cut them smaller, without defrosting them.

Add rice, salt, pepper to the vegetables in the pan (you can also add your favorite spices) and continue to fry the rice and vegetables for about 2 minutes, stirring. By frying, the rice will remain soft but fluffy after cooking.

Pour broth or hot water into the rice and vegetables, stir and cover the pan with a lid. Cook the rice with vegetables, covered, over low heat for 15 — 20 minutes, until the rice is cooked. The exact time depends on the selected frying pan and the operating characteristics of your stove.

Serve the finished rice with frozen vegetables hot. This dish can act as an independent dish, or it can become a side dish for meat, chicken or semi-finished products. Bon appetit!
