Honey 1 tsp
Dry spices to taste
red fish (any, I have trout) pc
Soy sauce 4 tbsp
Garlic powder 0.5 tsp
Ginger powder 0.25 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry red fish on the grill? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. If you have frozen fish, you should first remove it from the freezer and defrost it at room temperature. The dish will turn out juicier and tastier if you take freshly caught red fish.

Step 2

Step 2
So, gut the fish and remove scales. Wash the carcass thoroughly, dry and cut into small pieces. If you plan to make fish stock from the head, remove the gills. Place the trout pieces into a suitable sized bowl.

Step 3

Step 3
Make the sauce in a separate deep bowl. Pour in soy sauce and honey. Add garlic powder, ginger and dry spices. The spices can be whatever you like, I used a pinch of oregano.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix everything until smooth.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour the resulting sauce into the bowl with the fish. Mix everything and leave to marinate for 30-40 minutes at room temperature.

Step 6

Step 6
For convenience, I often use a plastic bag. Place the fish in a bag, tie a knot and leave for a while. If you have the opportunity, leave the fish to marinate a little longer in the refrigerator on the bottom shelf.

Step 7

Step 7
Light up the grill. When the fire burns out and only coals remain, proceed to the main cooking process. Place the fish pieces on a wire rack pre-greased with vegetable oil. Fry, turning occasionally, until done. Cooking time depends on the intensity of the heat and the size of the pieces.

Step 8

Step 8
The red fish on the grill is ready and ready to serve. It is amazingly delicious both hot and cold!
