Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make juicy and soft pork goulash like in a kindergarten with flour and tomato paste at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I have pork loin. You can take a ham or loin. Use unscented vegetable oil.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the meat, be sure to dry it with a paper towel, otherwise excess moisture will not allow it to fry — it will stew. Cut the meat into small pieces.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the carrots, wash them, grate them on a coarse or fine grater.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the pre-peeled onions and cut into small cubes.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add pieces of meat. Fry the pork over moderately high heat, stirring until the pieces are golden brown. Salt the meat a little. The articles at the end of the recipe will help you choose a frying pan and oil for frying.

Step 6

Step 6
Add prepared carrots and onions to the meat, stir. Fry vegetables and meat for about 5 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Add tomato paste and flour. With this amount of flour, the gravy is of moderate thickness. If you want it to be thicker, add a little more flour.

Step 8

Step 8
Mix everything well. Simmer the meat with the tomato and flour for a couple of minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Pour hot water into the pan to cover the meat pieces. The exact amount of water depends on the diameter of your pan. Salt the dish, stir and bring to a boil.

Step 10

Step 10
Simmer the meat over low heat, covering the pan with a lid, for about 25-30 minutes. Add bay leaf, stir. Cook the goulash for another 7-10 minutes. Cooking time will depend on the quality of the meat and the operating characteristics of the stove.
