Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make lula kebab in a frying pan from minced meat? Prepare your food. Minced meat for lula kebab is traditionally made from lamb and fat tail fat, but variations are allowed. I use minced beef and butter instead of fat. Take any greens, I have dill and parsley, cilantro and mint work very well. Use spices and pepper according to your taste. Don’t neglect suneli hops, this seasoning gives a wonderful aroma.

Step 2

Step 2
Pre-soak the wooden skewers on which the kebabs will be strung in water for half an hour so that they do not burn when frying.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the greens thoroughly under running water, then dry. Finely chop.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the onion and chop finely with a knife. It is advisable not to pass onions through a meat grinder for kebabs. It should be felt in the dish, so it is better to chop it finely.

Step 5

Step 5
Transfer the ground meat to a bowl. Add to it all the spices and salt, chopped onions and fresh herbs. Also add a piece of softened butter.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix the minced meat thoroughly with your hands. Then hit it forcefully, lifting it with your hands and throwing it onto the table or into a bowl. This way the minced meat becomes more viscous, and the cutlets made from it will not fall apart, despite the absence of eggs and bread crumb.

Step 7

Step 7
With wet hands, take a piece of minced meat and roll it into a ball. Then flatten it into a circle or oval and stick it around a wet wooden skewer. It is necessary to carefully and carefully sculpt the kebab so that it does not fall apart during frying. Form all the kebabs like this. Try to use pieces of equal weight so that the kebabs cook evenly.

Step 8

Step 8
Heat a frying pan (preferably a grill pan) and grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil. Place lula kebabs on it as shown in the photo.

Step 9

Step 9
Grill the kebabs over high heat for a minute on each side, being careful to turn them evenly around. A crust should form on each cutlet, which will seal the meat juice inside, making it more juicy.

Step 10

Step 10
Next, reduce the heat and bring the kebabs to readiness over low heat, also turning them over from time to time. This will take about 10 minutes. Serve kebabs hot with various sauces. Bon appetit!
