Hard cheese 90 g

Sunflower oil (Plus a little for lubricating the plates) 25 ml

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake cheese waffles in a waffle iron? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to use premium flour. Sift it through a sieve. Thanks to this, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished waffles will turn out more tender and fluffy. Sunflower oil can be replaced with any other vegetable oil. You can add any spices to your taste. Beat the eggs into a bowl. I used a tall blender glass. Pour milk in there and add a pinch of salt.

Step 2

Step 2
Beat the mixture with a mixer until smooth and light bubbles form.

Step 3

Step 3
Add baking powder. Together with eggs, baking powder is responsible for the fluffiness of baked goods.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sifted flour and ground coriander. At this stage, you can add your favorite spices.

Step 5

Step 5
Add sunflower oil.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix the dough with a mixer for 30 seconds.

Step 7

Step 7
Grate the cheese on a fine grater and place it in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. The cheese must have a pronounced taste, otherwise it will not be very noticeable in the finished waffles. Mix the mixture again with a mixer. The dough is ready.

Step 8

Step 8
The dough should be quite thick. It should not last long, but should hold the groove well from the whisk or spoon. If the dough turns out watery, add more cheese or a little flour.

Step 9

Step 9
Heat the waffle iron according to the instructions. Lubricate both plates with a drop of sunflower oil. It is convenient to do this with a pastry brush so as not to get burned.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the batter on the bottom plate of the waffle iron. You should not put a lot of dough so that when baking it does not go beyond the edges of the molds. Here you need to adapt specifically to your waffle iron model. Close the lid and bake the waffles for about 4-5 minutes. The exact time depends on the features of your waffle iron. I have a 450 W waffle iron. I baked each batch for exactly 5 minutes.

Step 11

Step 11
The lid can be lifted during cooking. The reference point is a ruddy color. It is better to remove the finished waffles using tongs with heat-resistant grips so as not to damage the non-stick coating of the waffle iron. Bon appetit!
