Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake Handsome cupcakes with kefir jam? Prepare your food. The egg and kefir must be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that all products are at the same room temperature. When all foods are at the same temperature, the dough rises better.

Step 2

Step 2
Before cooking, be sure to wash the egg with dishwashing detergent and wipe it gently dry. Break the egg into a bowl and add a glass of granulated sugar. Beat the sugar and egg thoroughly with a mixer.

Step 3

Step 3
Add room temperature kefir and three tablespoons of vegetable oil to the beaten mixture of eggs and sugar. It is better to take odorless, refined vegetable oil. Add a pinch of salt there.

Step 4

Step 4
Be sure to sift two glasses of flour together with baking powder. You need to sift the flour so that it is saturated with oxygen and our muffins turn out fluffy. Do not add flour all at once, but gradually, in small portions, the dough should not be thick, but like rich sour cream. Flour varies from region to region, so be careful not to overdo it. Mix the dough well until it is smooth and without lumps.

Step 5

Step 5
Prepare your silicone muffin tins. I don’t grease my molds, the cupcakes come out perfectly and nothing sticks or burns. If you have metal or paper molds, you need to grease them with oil. Place one tablespoon of dough into each mold, then one teaspoon of jam.

Step 6

Step 6
Place about one tablespoon of dough on top of the jam. Fill the molds in this manner until the dough runs out.

Step 7

Step 7
Turn on the oven to preheat at 180 degrees, top to bottom. I have an electric oven. While the oven reaches the desired temperature, move the molds with the dough onto a baking sheet. I don’t pour the dough into molds immediately on a baking sheet because it’s not always possible to do this carefully; droplets can get on the baking sheet and burn in the oven.

Step 8

Step 8
Our oven has warmed up to the desired temperature, it’s time to bake the cupcakes. They don’t bake for long, about 20 minutes, but again, everyone’s oven is different, rely on your household appliances. Bake until dry. These are the beauties I got! Enjoy your tea
