Rye and Onion Buns: Light, Airy, and Aromatic Delights
Light, airy, very aromatic and delicious! Dough buns with rye flour and onions are my next experiment — I had rye flour in the cupboard and needed to find a use for it! But rye flour itself is heavy (remember black bread), what kind of buns are there... Rye flour dough is best made with the addition of regular wheat flour (in this recipe 1:1). I must say that they made me very, very happy and I will definitely cook from them again and again!
